The Irish actor was born May 16, 1953, in Drogheda, County Louth, Ireland. Graduated from the Drama Center in 1975, Pierce began his career as acting stage assistant manager at the York Theater Royal to make his debut in Frederick Knott’s drama Wait Until Dark. His name becomes more famous when playing the main character in the James Bond movie series. Until now the name of James Bond is still attached to him.
This handsome, brown-haired man cares deeply about what is happening on earth and is determined to fight for the cause he believes in. While fighting for forests and oceans, Pierce often tripped over politics from time to time. He is even labeled an extreme environmental activist, but he is proud of that label.
