Five natural attractions in Tomohon that you need to visit. This eastern part of Indonesia holds a million natural things in this fairyland. The city is flanked by two mountains namely Mount Lokon and Mount Mahawu which makes Tomohon looks really beautiful and has a cold climate.
This cool climate makes diverse biodiversity grows fertile. The types of flora found are ficus minahassae, nepenthes masarangense, and Schefflera actinophylla, while fauna is bufo celebensis (horned frog).
The Sulawesi government has been trying to breed bufo celebensis and for its scarcity that has been planted in the nursery of Yayasan Masarang which will be created a new botanical garden.

This lake has beautiful colors and always changing. Color issued include green, blue, until brownish yellow. The lake is flanked by hills and trees are very lush.

To get to this lake we can go to the bus station in Tomohon City and choose the destination of Lake Linow, this journey only takes approximately half an hour.

If you are bored with natural beaches, lakes or mountains than you can go visit Tumimperas Waterfall, Piranas Village, South Tumohon. Access roads are not too difficult, we just need to go down the stairs with a distance of 100 meters from the village Pinaras. On arrival at the destination, we will be presented with stunning views from the top of the waterfall that sounds quite roaring water.
The vibes are still very natural, the air is cool, and all around the overgrown shady trees that add to the beautiful atmosphere at this waterfall location.
